Founder of Katz Marketing Solutions, a marketing
consulting firm. She is an expert marketer with
an extensive track record of building and
revitalizing numerous Fortune 500 brands.
Tammy Katz has held key brand marketing
positions
with
Frito-Lay,
Miller Brewing Company,
Bristol-Myers Squibb and The Scotts Company. Her
expertise is in strategic and marketing
planning, brand positioning, advertising and
communication, new product development,
licensing, and cross-functional team
implementation.
Prior to founding Katz Marketing Solutions, she
served
as Vice President,
The Scotts Company, where she
led the successful acquisition integration and
brand revitalization of the
Ortho and
RoundUp
brands and national marketing teams.
As Brand Director, Miller Lite, she led
the successful turnaround of the previously
declining brand, and developed the
Effie
award-winning Life Is Good television, radio,
and outdoor advertising campaign. Tammy has also
led numerous brand, strategic planning, and new
product development initiatives for other major
brands, including:
Enfamil, Boost,
Dearfoams,
Borden Ice Cream,
Sun Chips, and Ruffles Potato
Chips.
Katz has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from
The Ohio State University and serves on the
Board of Directors of Monterey Gourmet Foods,
Kahiki Foods, and several
central Ohio non-profit boards. Katz is an
Adjunct Instructor of
Brand Management at the
Fisher College of
Business MBA Program at
The
Ohio State University. She serves as
the
Marketing mentor for
Count Me In for Women's
Economic Independence program. Katz's marketing
